Starting Service · Proper Baseline

First-Time Cleaning establishes the standard before maintenance begins.

The first visit gets additional time because it is establishing the professional cleaning baseline, not simply maintaining one that already exists.

Normal day-to-day or surface-level cleaning can keep the obvious areas under control while detail buildup develops around fixtures, edges, corners, baseboards and areas that are not always cleaned as thoroughly or as routinely.

First-Time Cleaning gives the team the time needed to address those details before Standard or Recurring Cleaning begins.

First-Time + Heavy Duty

They are based on two different things.

First-Time is based on recent professional-cleaning history. Heavy Duty is based on visible accumulated buildup.

01

30+ days

If the home has not been professionally and thoroughly cleaned within the previous 30 days, First-Time Cleaning is required even if the home still looks tidy.

02

Visible buildup

Heavy Duty is required when surfaces show heavier hard-water deposits, soap scum, grease, grime, dust, pet hair or similar buildup. As a general guide, this can appear after approximately 45–60+ days, but the condition of the surfaces is what determines Heavy Duty.

03

Both can apply

If the home is 30+ days beyond a professional thorough clean and also has heavier visible buildup, book First-Time Cleaning with Heavy Duty so the appointment has the additional time required.

After The Baseline

Once the details are current, maintenance gets much easier.

Recurring service maintains the result instead of repeatedly having to restore accumulated buildup.

Heavy buildup can take significant additional time

In some cases, a single shower or bathroom can require several additional hours of detailed cleaning to properly restore the surfaces. Heavy Duty provides the additional time required when that level of buildup is present.

First-Time Cleaning FAQs

Questions before your first booking.

When First-Time is required, how Heavy Duty works and what happens after the first visit.

Is First-Time Cleaning required if my home has not been professionally cleaned in the last 30 days?

Yes. If the home has not been professionally and thoroughly cleaned within the previous 30 days, First-Time Cleaning is required before Standard or Recurring Cleaning begins.

Why is First-Time Cleaning different from a Standard Clean?

Standard and Recurring Cleaning maintain a home that is already at professional cleaning standard. First-Time Cleaning includes the additional time needed to establish that baseline properly.

Does my home need to look dirty for First-Time Cleaning to apply?

No. The 30-day rule is based on recent professional-cleaning history, not on whether the home looks obviously dirty. Detail buildup can develop gradually around fixtures, edges, corners, baseboards and less-routinely maintained areas.

What is the difference between First-Time Cleaning and Heavy Duty?

First-Time Cleaning is required when the home has not been professionally and thoroughly cleaned within the previous 30 days. Heavy Duty is an additional level based on visible accumulated buildup. They can be booked together when both conditions apply.

Does Heavy Duty mean my home has to look extremely dirty?

No. Heavy Duty is based on the condition of the surfaces, not clutter or neglect. A tidy home can still have heavier hard-water deposits, soap scum, grease, grime, dust, pet hair or other buildup that needs additional cleaning time.

How long does a First-Time Clean take?

The appointment length depends on the size, condition and finishes in the home. A First-Time Clean can take up to roughly double the time of a Standard or Maintenance Clean because the first visit is establishing the cleaning baseline.

What happens after the First-Time Clean?

Once the home is brought up to the Diamond Dynasty standard, you can move into Standard or Recurring Cleaning on the schedule that fits the household.

Are Diamond Dynasty cleaning professionals insured and background checked?

Yes. Diamond Dynasty Cleaning is fully insured, and cleaning professionals are background checked before client assignments.
